A Novel Technique for Facial Recognition Based on the GSO-CNN Deep Learning Algorithm

Today's article comes from the Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The authors are Al-Abboodi et al., from Al-Nahrain University, in Iraq. In this paper they introduce a novel approach to facial recognition. That gives us an excuse to review the history of that technology, from the 1960s to today.
