Contractors’ Selection Criteria and Construction Project Outcome in Rivers State

Today's article comes from the International Journal of Emerging Research in Engineering, Science, and Management. The authors are Okereke et al., from Imo State University, in Nigeria. In this paper they formalize contractor selection into a multi-criteria evaluation problem. Instead of treating price as the dominant signal, they evaluate contractors across multiple dimensions like financial soundness, prior performance on similar projects, technical competence, managerial capacity, safety records, and resource availability.
