Lightweight Gaussian Process-Based Visual Servoing for Autonomous Wheelchair Sidewalk Navigation

Today's article comes from the IEEE Access journal. The authors are Hafez et al., from King Faisal University, in Saudi Arabia. In this paper they're bolting computer-vision functionality onto electric wheelchairs. Why? Because if it works, it could allow a wheelchair to follow tactile paving lines in real time, with much less error than conventional methods.
