Today's article comes from the IEEE Access journal. The authors are Hafez et al., from King Faisal University, in Saudi Arabia. In this paper they're bolting computer-vision functionality onto electric wheelchairs. Why? Because if it works, it could allow a wheelchair to follow tactile paving lines in real time, with much less error than conventional methods.
