Pig tongue soft robot mimicking intrinsic tongue muscle structure

Today's article comes from the Frontiers in Robotics and AI journal. The authors are Ishikawa et al., from the Institute of Science Tokyo, in Japan. This study exists for one reason: to push soft robotics forward, just a little. How? By attempting to reconstruct the internal muscle layout of a pig's tongue.
