Today's article comes from the journal of Engineering Proceedings. The authors are Vladimirov et al., from the Technical University of Sofia, in Bulgaria. The title of this article makes it sound like it's a training manual for a specific type of robot and development-environment. That's a clever misdirection. In reality, this paper puts forward the opposite. The authors argue that the methods of programming industrial robots are too inconsistent from manufacturer to manufacturer. They propose a standardized framework and process that could significantly improve the developer-experience.
