Real-Time Monitoring of Road Networks for Pavement Damage Detection Based on Preprocessing and Neural Networks

Today's article comes from the journal of Big Data and Cognitive Computing. The authors are Shakhovska et al., from Lviv Polytechnic National University, in Ukraine. While there have been many studies on pothole-detection before, I believe this one is notably different. The authors have trained a model to detect potholes in video (not stills), and it can do so with single-digit millisecond latency.
